Kristin Wincek is the driving force behind Liv Handmade + Design. She is a creative in both personal and professional realms with a focus on handmade projects. She specializes in design strategy and marketing, art/photo direction and brand identity. LH+D has evolved to include custom craft work, interior design and web design. In addition to LH+D, she is also the Creative Director at deZinnia, a design and project management firm specializing in packaging graphics.

She is a true believer in the value of community, connection and giving back. She is a volunteer Minnesota Water Steward with the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and partners with Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery to lead an annual “Build-a-Rain Barrel Workshop,” educating the community on ways to keep our lakes and rivers clean. She has also volunteered her talents for Tulo Beauty, which helps those who have been impacted by cancer find comfort during a time of transition.

In her free time, you’ll likely find Kristin outdoors, hiking, installing a rain garden, mountain biking, skiing or strolling with her dog, Alice.
